Canidrome
Located close to the border, this is one of the best greyhound racing track in Asia. It has two grandstands and private boxes, as well as all the latest betting facilities. Races are held on Mondays, Thursdays and weekends.
Lin Fong Temple & Lin Ze Xu Museum
This Buddhist temple, which was built in 1592, is famous not only for its fine architecture but its history as a stopping place for mandarins visiting Macau and the surrounding area. The best known was Commissioner Lin Ze Xu, who was appointed by the Emperor to get rid China of the opium trade in the mid-19th century. His visit to Macau in 1839 is commemorated in a museum beside the temple. There are picture, pamphlets and a diorama of the man and his mission.
